A routine, antic free day. Worth went to work and Gates looked after things on the home front, though she did find time to buy some clothes – a jumper, a gilet and some of the new jeggings that would also be suitable for work made from a trouser fabric and cut just a smidge looser than normal jeggings. Pictures will no doubt appear on FridayCool Style in due course.
Bertie had a routine day, playing with balls of paper, ignoring his new beanie teddy and doing it all at 90 mph!
The decorator progressed with his sterling work putting a lot of the lining paper on the walls. This really smartened the hall and landing up so Worth grabbed a few photos of it feeling very pleased with the spooky oversized candelabra style light fitting that he captured in shadow. Worth thinks that the decorator will have finished by the end of the weekend as he intends to work over the weekend. That will just leave the banisters to be painted by Gates and a new carpet to be ordered.
Ordinary lives then and sometimes that’s just how we like it.
