Tales from a Fractured Folly : Friday 20th January

While I was fetching my water from the spring today (spring water makes good tea) I looked back and realised for the hundredth time that I love where we live.

Third morning in a row I was up before 9. This isn’t a habit I want to get into, but this time to meet up with old workmates again for a breakfast natter which lasted until lunchtime. It was such a lovely day I went for a bit of a walk to catch some sunshine. There were some hangliders on the hill and while I’m sure it was a good day for it, it was freezing up there in the wind, so I grabbed a few pictures and came back.

I get a lot of pleasure walking on these lovely hills. It’s impossible to feel anything other than joy even with all the things I have whirring around my mind. I pondered on why a lot of people would think me oddly peaceful and happy. Came to some odd conclusions. We shall leave those for another time and have another picture.

Groovy Word of the day: tranquil

  1. It is good to enjoy where you live. I am so happy all the work was completed on your home, too, so you can come home to a peaceful place. Love to you.
