Tales from a Fractured Folly: Monday 6th February

Two partly dried out conkers might not be the highlight of your day, but they made me smile. These two were gathered on our last proper day out together. We went to Painswick Rococo garden on 30th October. Worth was feeling better than he had for a while, it was a perfectly lovely little garden and we picked them up on our walk. We had some lunch and almost forgot what was going on in our lives. These little chaps had been in a jewellery box but I noticed they had gone. I had no idea where they were and to be honest I was quite upset about it.

So finding them in this new box upstairs made me very happy. I smiled and thanked Worth for leading me to them. He would have said that if I had cleaned up the den when it needed it and not left it so long, I would have found them ages ago.
