Tales from a Fractured Folly : 11th February 2017

Old friends Aston and Debs came to visit today and bought these lovely flowers for me. We went out for lunch to The Malvern Hills Hotel where it was cosy and warm with a log burner and steam on the windows. It was cold and gloomy all day with little flurries of snow so it was nice to be tucked up inside with nice food and drink.

It’s lovely to have company and get out, but it doesn’t  stop me feeling that I am just half of a team that doesn’t exist anymore. I miss that team, I miss holding his hand, I miss his cuddles, I miss his love. I suppose I always will.

  1. You know I read all your posts but some just don’t feel right to ‘like.’ Please know that you are always in my thoughts. Hugs from across the Pond.

  2. Thank you Lois. Adrian always tried to be honest about what he was going through and I’m trying to do the same, without being dismal about it. I have so many tears inside I can’t imagine I will ever stop crying. It’s not all doom and gloom, it just hits me sometimes.
