Tales from a Fractured Folly: 4th May 2017

These were my downfall today. It was an odd day which got better as it went on. I woke up still tired, this working lark really takes it out of you. My tasks today were to book an appointment for a trial of contact lenses (which is a sort of copout from having my eyes lasered) and getting the mobiles sorted out. First job went well, second was a washout as the Three shop has closed in Worcester. Not best pleased but as the day was young, I set off for Cheltenham. The Three shop there was very helpful and managed to save me £40 a month and on the way home I called in at the decal man who will fix my stripe on the coupe next week. I was getting a bit hungry by now and stopped off in Tewkesbury and succumbed to a cone of chips. I really wanted a biscuit and raisin Yorkie for afters but I couldn’t find one. So I ended up with these lovely things and ate them on the way home. Then I discovered I am the proud owner of some more lovely things I bid for at the jewellery auction. That was a bad habit to start.

  1. Sounds like a pretty lovely day to me–especially winning at the auction!
