Tales from a Fractured Folly: 31st May 2017

It was a much harder shot than it looks! He was the other side of the pond and I didn’t want to either fall in or disturb him or both. I’m very pleased to be responsible for homing these chaps, there was no pond before I moved in. A lazy start as I have no work this week. What I do have is the most stupid drippy, sneezy summer cold. So I pottered about tidying up, did some washing, bought a senior Railcard which has to be good value at £70 for three years, and then watched the rain lash down for just 5 minutes on my by now dry washing. I couldn’t get it in because I had Ola on my lap. The trials of being retired.

Groovy Word of the day: unruffled

  1. This made me smile. I refuse to move if Parker is sleeping on my lap, or legs, or wherever….. My husband gets so annoyed, but sorry, I won’t disturb the kitty!
