Tales from a Fractured Folly: 9th July 2017

I can’t believe that I have lived here for so long and never discovered Clevedon before. It’s such a pretty little place and yes, the sea vanishes over the horizon when the tide’s out. But that can be said for almost anywhere on this bit of coast. So that’s where we started our day and where we had lunch and an ice cream. Then we moved on to our Owl experience afternoon which was fascinating although a little hot in the sun today for two hours. We got to hold them, stroke them and have them fly to us. They were very endearing little creatures and we had a great day with them.

Groovy Word of the day: hoot

  1. Oh, how cute! The only owls I have ever seen (but not held–lucky you!) were at our Wildlife Rescue Shelter. They are beautiful.
