Tales from a Fractured Folly: 28th October 2017

Today three of us, me, the Elf and friend Charlotte, went on an adventure to deepest darkest Wales for some horse riding. We hadn’t expected the journey there to be so eventful but the sat nav played a trick or two on us and with the added excitement of a poor choice of turning point it’s a good job we were in the Paceman or we might still be there. Once we had found the place the weather seemed to improve, we brushed our horses and began our ride. It was interrupted by hunting hounds which we heard scampering about the valley and at one point we had to dismount as the horses became quite unnerved by the dogs barking. We stopped off in Hay-on-Wye for a late lunch and got home just as it got dark. A great day out.

Groovy word of the day: intrepid.
