Wednesday
I woke up feeling dreadful. There was a coughing, flu-like bug going round and it looks like it was my turn. As this morning’s activity was kayaking and messing about in the river I passed on that, and breakfast, and stayed in bed. I felt a bit better by lunch but I thought I would again pass on planting and weeding bamboo grass, and save my strength for going to the market afterwards. It was much cooler today and been raining most of the night, it seems to have dropped from 32 to 15 in 22 hours.
