The Opel GT is a rare car in the UK and its bright red paintwork cuts a fine dash on the lush green fields of Castle Morton Common in the Malvern Hills.
This weekend saw us out with our MINI Clubman at Santa Pod in Northamptonshire for the Mini In The park show. You can read about our day at the show here.
This photo was one I grabbed showing a jet powered Mini waiting to “jet off” at the start of the strip and I wanted to feature it here as I was very pleased with the black and white version and the crispness that you can get with the Fuji X-E1. This was my favourite photo from the day but you can view more that we shot here.
At the same time we also had our Canon 400D with us, shod with a Sigma 70- 300mm lens and we were quite pleased with some of the zoomed shots we were able to get with this, such as this one below.
We went to Wilton House on the 4th August and had some great fun photographing the supercars and classic that were on display there. the Porsches were probably our favourites and this view was shared by a lot of others it would seem. Check out the rest of our X-E1 photos from the day here!

SilverBeast, our MINI Coupé JCW has had his red Joseph Ducts fitted in the front bumper and a diffuser fitted at the rear. The next step will be his red A-panels and his private plate as he readies for his first major European tour, to the South of France and on to Italy to retrace the route of the Mille Miglia. With the sun shining so brightly and the jet streams looking so good in the blue sky, I could not resist a quick photo shoot of the Coupé, to show off his ducts and diffuser.
