Weekly Photo Challenge – Let There Be Light Part Three

Let There Be Light

I have already entered twice into this challenge, but it was such an easy theme to conform to and in many ways this entry is the most appropriate of them all. You can imagine God, or Mother Nature shouting out, “Let there Be light” as they roll out a glorious sunrise for us to behold. Anyway this was what awaited us as we opened the shutters in our bedroom, so quick as a flash we dashed for the camera and caught it before it turned into full daylight.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated

This week’s photo challenge: saturated,  was in some ways a week or so early, as the autumn leaves would be on the turn a lot better in a few weeks time. However, It was autumn leaves that inspired us and we make no apology for shooting in full velvia film simulation on our Fuji X-E1 to give us these very rich saturated colours. A sunny afternoon today has also helped with the pictures.

Weekly Photo Challenge: An Unusual POV

We were tempted into joining in with the WordPress weekly photo competition and this week’s theme is an “unusual point of view”.  We took various shots, some shots of the steps up to our house from the point of view of our feet, an unusual POV of our bedroom window before finally plumping for a black and white unusual POV of a rose in front of our house growing by a street lamp. Hope you like it.
